Women's Restroom Signs

Engraved signs are available in aluminum as well as plastic. Text on the 20 mil thick Engraved Aluminum Signs (DiamondPlate Signs) is sealed into the aluminum core. Plastic Engraved Signs (also known as Select-a-Color Signs) come in two variants. Both the Indoor Engraved Signs and Outdoor Engraved Signs are made of acrylic, but the latter has a better life than the former. Engraved signs can be ordered with adhesive tape, Velcro, or holes with mounting screws.

ShowCase™ Signs are made of 125 mil thick acrylic - more than double the thickness of Engraved signs (60 mil). The text is under the surface which protects the printing. Premium-looking ShowCase signs are primarily for indoor use but can be used outdoors too for approximately 3 years. Drilling into the sign will crack it.

Most of our braille restroom signs meet ADA requirements. You may want to opt for Tactile Touch Braille Women’s Restroom Signs. They adhere to all ADA specifications, as follows- 

Braille: Sign features Grade II Braille as specified by ADA.

Raised Lettering: TactileTouch letters on the sign are raised by 1/32 inch.

Case: Characters are in upper case with "Optima" type font, a sans serif type of font.

Letter height: ADA specifies that all raised characters must be at least 5/8 inches high but should be no higher than 2 inches (50 mm). 

Pictograms:Pictograms are raised and have a verbal description of the picture directly below them. Pictograms have a field height of 6 inches (150 mm) minimum.

Finish: The sign has a non-glare, matte finish. Symbols and characters have a stark contrast with the background—all combinations offered are either light characters on a dark background or vice versa, with a contrast level of roughly 70%.

Rounded Corners: Since these signs are read by touch, they do not have sharp or abrasive edges.

While our stock signs come pre-printed, adding an arrow is possible in some of our custom signs. Yes, all projecting signs are double-sided.Our Projecting Women’s Restroom Signs are ideal for over the door, middle of a hallway, or aisles where traffic comes from either direction and one can’t see what’s there in the middle. Signs project from the surface at a right angle (attach these signs to the wall using metal brackets). 

Z-Ceiling signs hang from ceiling tiles. These signs are also double-sided and can be spotted from a great distance. 

We also offer Projecting Women’s Restroom V-Signs which are 3-dimensional signs visible from all directions. These can be quickly spotted during restroom emergencies. This sign is angular and offers superior visibility when approached from an angle. Our projecting signs have an innovative 74° bend (versus a 90° bend).

Our Anodized Aluminum Signs, also known as the DiamondPlate Signs, are 20 mil thick. The metal is anodized and the signs last at least for 10 years outdoors. These are supplied with 3M 468 adhesive on the entire back for a good application. Signs perform really well in terms of durability, chemical, and water resistance.

Wooden Women’s Room Signs are 125 mil thick, much thicker than the aluminum signs. The sophisticated wood signs are engraved and feature rounded corners for safety. Signs come with foam adhesive strips for easy application.
