While both indoor engraved and outdoor engraved unisex bathroom signs are made of thick plastic with UV inhibitors, the co-extruded impact layers on outdoor engraved signs enhance their durability. Both of these signs have precision-engraved characters and can withstand temperatures up to 170°F. Where indoor engraved unisex bathroom signs have 5-year outdoor durability, their outdoor engraved counterparts last over 15 years outside!

Our unisex restroom sliding signs are made from 60 mil thick engraved plastic plates recessed within solid anodized aluminum frames. The top plate can be slid back and forth with ease to communicate vacancy, availability, etc. We offer sign color and frame color options for these signs, so you may choose one that complements your decor.

You may modify the graphics on custom ShowCase unisex restroom signs. Our easy-to-follow customization wizard allows you to replace the existing graphic with another one from our clipart library. You may also resize or reposition the graphic on the sign by checking the ‘Edit Design’ option visible at the bottom of the sign image on the right side of the customization window.

Each projecting sign is packaged differently. 6”x5” Projecting-V signs are made of durable acrylic and come with a handy installation kit that includes screws and adhesive tape. Spot-a-Sign™ series comes with a polished brass-colored aluminum bracket. The 4”x12” projecting signs are packaged with a silver wall bracket to mount the sign to the wall. Screws and anchors are not included due to their dependence on your wall type.

Double-sided 12”x12” aluminum signs do not come with mounting holes, and brackets are recommended to be bought separately. The Z-drop ceiling sign needs no installation support and can be simply fit between a ceiling tile and the ceiling grid.

Yes, most of our designer unisex restroom signs have Grade 2 Braille and are ADA compliant. These signs are available in 44 faceplate colors, with the option to choose from gold, silver, and copper color backplates for many of these signs.
